If you READ Focus on the Family’s Letter from 2012, featuring ridiculous predictions and fear-mongering tactics from the rightest of the right wing, than you want to read the rebuttal from God’s Politics. It is a letter which would have been nice to read back during the 2000 election, one that foretold the truth about what 8 years in a Bush presidency would mean.

After reading the article, then most of the comments, I think that Wallis handled the situation very well.
I am glad to see that there is more than just a few youth pastors that are outraged at the whole scenario from Dobson.

you say “the rightest of the right wing” with a negative connotation. i just can’t help but think, if being the “rightest of the right” is bad, what about being the “leftest of the left”?… and we’re just talking about someone who wrote an article. imagine if someone that far off center was doing something more important… like say… running for president?

@Brett – I would have to argue that a man whose words have as much influence over people as Dobson’s do, he is just as important… maybe more so. Pimping Christian faith for political gain is a dangerous thing.
@Justin – thats my point… people ACTUALLY believe this stuff will happen. most of the things in the original article will not happen and can not happen, yet weaker minds are easily tricked into believing it
